Our ready-to-heat and -eat Jackfruit Meal Starters make it easy to enjoy the flavors of fresh, young jackfruit year-round. However, we’re big proponents of adding seasonal ingredients to our meatless meals—and, with a new season upon us, we’re definitely ready for those #FallFeels.
In particular, here are some super autumnal dishes that we’re super excited to make over the next few months:
Jackfruit Stuffed Acorn Squash
Kelly Pfeiffer, Nosh and Nourish
If you’re like us, the first veggie that comes to mind when you think of fall is squash. Acorn squash is always a popular choice this time of year, thanks to its mildly sweet flavor and manageable size. It also happens to pair perfectly with our Smoked Pulled Jackfruit, chopped nuts and maple syrup. Sure, you could save this one for a big holiday dinner—but why wait?!
BBQ Jackfruit Potato Skins (pictured)
Valerie Libutti, Vegan Travel Eats
Need something to bring to the next game day potluck? Here you go. The ever-popular potato skin gets a jacked-up makeover with BBQ Jackfruit, vegan cheddar and sour cream, and chives. It’s the ultimate game day snack—or, serve with a simple side salad to turn these savory skins into a complete meal.
Jessica, Love Vegan Soul
Soup’s on! @love.vegan.soul gave the classic noodle soup an Asian-inspired spin with Teriyaki Jackfruit, Chinese Five Spice, and grated ginger. The warming spices are sure to satisfy those cold-weather cravings. As soon as the temperature drops, we’ll definitely be making this one.
Ashley Melillo, Blissful Basil
If you’re looking forward to stew season, add this one to your “must try” list. It’s got our Smoked Pulled Jackfruit; fall veggies like cauliflower, carrots and kale; and a deliciously rich and creamy texture. In other words, it’s pretty much the perfect meatless meal for fall.
Megan Faletra, The Well Essentials
Swap out the usual tortilla chips for succulent slices of roasted sweet potato, and you’ve got yourself a new favorite fall feast. Whether you’re making it for a crowd or just yourself (no judgements here!) you’ll find yourself craving this fresh flavor combo in no time. After all, this is nacho ordinary nachos.
Steph, Comfort Food Vegan
It’s just not fall without a pot of piping-hot chili on the stove, right? @comfortfoodvegan has a great recipe on her Instagram feed that makes the most of our meaty BBQ Jackfruit, in-season green chilies, and classic spices. Add a dollop of your favorite plant-based sour cream, and dinner is served.
