Jackfruit Frozen Margaritas

The perfect way to celebrate National Margarita Day (or any day!)


1 ½ ounce tequila

1 ounce triple sec

½ cup ripe jackfruit pods, chopped

1 tsp agave syrup

1 cup crushed ice or ice cubes

Garnish: coarse salt and lime wedges



Run lime wedge around the rim of a glass and dip edges into coarse salt.

Add tequila, triple sec, jackfruit, agave and ice to a blender. Blend until smooth. Taste and add more agave if desired.

Pour into glass and enjoy immediately. Cheers!
